HOW TO ADD MY SITE TO IE 7 TRUSTED SITES

The easiest way to avoid download problems on Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 is to add my site to the trusted sites zone.

Here's How:
Follow these instructions to add my site to the trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer 7.

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Click on Internet Options in the Tools menu. The Tools menu has a gear icon on it.


3. Click on the Security tab.
4. Click on Trusted Sites.
5. Click on the Sites button.


6. Type the address of my download site address into the text box.
dl.filekicker.com
(or any other web address, such as recipecards.net if you have problems logging in.)
and leave off the www. prefix

7. Make sure the box for "Require server verification (https:) . . ..." is unchecked.



8. Click the Close button to exit the Trusted Sites dialog box to save your settings.

(Leave Internet options open.)

9. Click the Default Level button.


10. Now you should see a slider, move the slider down to the middle.
This will change Security Settings for my site to "Default":


11. Click the Close button to exit the dialog box.
12. Click OK to exit the Internet Options dialog box.
